Be in the shot,
on top of everything.

A floating camera window for macOS.

MoFace puts your camera in a window that sits above every other app — any shape, any size, wherever you drop it. Record a tutorial with your face in the corner, present without disappearing behind your slides, or keep an eye on your framing before the call starts.

Your camera, exactly how you want it.

MoFace is one window and a settings panel. Everything in it exists because the window was in the wrong place, the wrong shape, or the wrong size.

📌
Always on top, never in the way

The window floats above your other apps — including full-screen ones — so it stays visible while you switch between Keynote, a browser and a terminal. Drag it anywhere and resize it to whatever's proportionate to what you're doing.

Three shapes, four ratios Premium

Rounded rectangle, circle or sticker — at 16:9, 4:3, 1:1 or freeform. Corner radius is a slider, so "rounded" means as rounded as you want it.

🔍
Zoom and pan

Scroll to zoom in and crop out the room behind you; two-finger swipe to pan and re-centre yourself in the frame. No need to move the camera.

🔄
Switch cameras, mirror the view

Pick any connected camera — built-in, Continuity, or a dedicated one — and flip the image when mirrored looks more natural than the truth.

🎛️
Borders and opacity Premium

Add a border in any colour and width, and dial the window's opacity down when you want to be present without blocking what's underneath.

🏷️
Put your name on it Premium

Add a label with your name, your title, or whatever the audience needs to know. Choose the font, size and colour, give it a background, and place it inside the frame or just outside it — left, centre or right.

🙈
Gone in one keystroke

Hide the window instantly when you need to not be on screen — and bring it back the same way, with everything exactly where you left it.

🧩
Works with everything

MoFace is just a window on your screen, so anything that records or shares your screen captures it — QuickTime, Zoom, Meet, Teams, OBS, ScreenFlow. Nothing to configure.

Adjust it without stopping.

Global shortcuts work while you're recording, presenting or on a call — you never have to open Settings mid-sentence. Assign your own combinations in Settings → Shortcuts.

🎓

Teaching & tutorials

Keep your face on screen while you walk through the software, so it's a person explaining and not a disembodied cursor.

📊

Presenting

Slides go full-screen and you don't disappear with them. The window floats over the deck wherever you put it.

🎬

Recording & streaming

A camera window in the corner for a screen recording, without a compositing app in the middle.

💼

Calls & standups

Check your framing before you turn the camera on, and keep half an eye on it while you share your screen.

What it needs, and where the video goes.

Questions people actually ask.

Will it show up in my screen recording?

Yes. MoFace is an ordinary window on your screen, so anything that captures the screen captures it too — QuickTime, OBS, ScreenFlow, Zoom, Meet, Teams. There's nothing to connect and no virtual camera to select.

Does it stay on top of full-screen apps?

Yes — that's the point. The window sits above your other apps so a full-screen deck or browser doesn't swallow it.

Can I use it as my camera in Zoom?

Not as the camera itself — MoFace doesn't install a virtual camera device. It shows you your camera in a floating window, and everyone else sees it when you share your screen. In a call, you'd still select your real camera in Zoom.

Does it record anything?

No. MoFace draws your camera feed into a window and that's the whole job. Nothing is written to disk and nothing is transmitted. It doesn't even ask for Screen Recording permission — only Camera.

Can I use my iPhone as the camera?

Yes. Continuity Camera shows up like any other camera, so you can pick it in MoFace and switch back with a keyboard shortcut.

What's free and what isn't?

The floating window, camera selection, and moving and resizing it are free. Shapes, aspect ratios, corner radius, borders, opacity, the name label and global shortcuts are Premium — available as a subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase.
